ADOPT THE PACE OF NATURE. HER SECRET IS PATIENCE.

Weyl Farms Direct

Our 240-acre farm is located north of Lincoln, Arkansas. It is divided almost evenly between pasture for grazing and woodlands for foraging for cattle and other types of livestock and poultry.

Nature and the seasons dictate when we use the areas. Pastures are used in the spring and fall when temperatures are mild and there has been ample rainfall. The woodland areas are used in the heat of summer to provide shade and in the winter months to provide stockpile forage for winter grazing. Observation and management with electric fencing are the tools used to work with the ecology and the landscape of the farm.

Our family farm has been in operation since 1965 in NW Arkansas. Fifteen years ago, we started learning about regenerative practices in ranching and farming. As we learn and collaborate with nature, we implement the methods of rotational and managed grazing principles of raising livestock. We have introduced sheep and have plans for pastured poultry and pigs.

Nature does not mind being managed, but it does not like being controlled. We work to improve the farm’s soil health, which leads to higher nutritional pasture forage for the livestock and wildlife. This this leads to higher quality meat and products for our community.
